Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant and Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively, the ability to draft legal documents and familiarity with DropBox, Microsoft Word and Excel and ProDoc. Applicant must be bilingual. Benefits offered and pay commisurate with work experience. Punctuality is a must. Our hours of business are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Duties:

- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person

- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys

- Assist with document preparation, including typing and formatting legal documents

-Drafting Legal documents, electronically filing legal documents, drafting spreadsheets in Excel

- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing

- Maintain client files and ensure accurate record-keeping

- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying

- Provide administrative support to attorneys and senior paralegal as needed

-Answer the main business telephone during business hours

Qualifications:

-Must be bilingual able to speak and write in English and Spanish

- Previous experience in a law office or paralegal certification required

- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

-Ability to draft legal documents

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
