The Services External Marketing team at Apple cultivates awareness and education of Apple's full suite of services and drives new customer acquisition through various marketing channels. Our growing team is in search of an experienced Paid Social Specialist to work across Apple's sports and entertainment businesses, including MLS All-Access, Friday Night Baseball, and more. In this role, you will plan, build, and optimize Paid Social campaigns end-to-end in self-service social platforms (i.e. Meta, Snapchat, X, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.).
Key Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a full-time Paid Social marketing role, either agency or client-side; experience working on sports brands or major sports leagues preferred
Expertise in social self-service platforms (e.g. Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, X, etc.)
Expert understanding of targeting options, optimization levers, creative specs, & testing approaches across all social buying platforms
Strong understanding of performance-based media optimization and subscription marketing
Expert-level understanding of marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies
Strong understanding of creator marketing & co-promotion tactics within social platforms
Detailed knowledge of technical challenges and nuances for mobile in-app across various ad types within social platforms
Ability to build strategic tailored plans to reach target audiences and deliver media objectives
Strong data analysis, visualization and presentation skills; understanding of how to tailor communications to stakeholders with various levels of digital media literacy
Proven track record of building close relationships within and across teams
Excellent social, oral and written communication skills
Description
The Paid Social Specialist, Sports & Entertainment will lead active day-to-day management of Paid Social campaigns for multiple Apple Services businesses. This work will include development of campaign strategies, initial campaign setup, in-market optimizations, tracking creative needs, data and budget reconciliation, and delivering performance reporting.
You will work hand-in-hand with marketing strategists, creative teams, organic social teams, measurement, analytics and marketing stakeholders to deliver end-to-end execution and performance management of Paid Social campaigns. You will demonstrate clear and thorough understanding of social marketing, while delivering strategic campaigns to successfully hit directed critical metrics.
This role will also involve preparing and presenting campaign performance reports to internal stakeholders. In order to accomplish these goals, you will need to have proven expertise and a dedication to continued education of the comprehensive landscape of social platforms and ad types.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
