Summary
The University of Michigan wants to help more Michigan high school students pursue post-secondary education. Following the tradition of Teach for America and AmeriCorps programs, recent University of Michigan graduates will be advisers in high schools across Michigan for students in traditionally under served communities. Working with school professionals, MCAC advisers will assist and empower students to make the transition from high school to a post-secondary institution. As an Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks and support for the Talent Acquisition Team to hire advisers. You will facilitate recruiting plans, events, and conduct interviews in-person and virtual.
You will report to the Associate Director. This role is hybrid, requiring work on-site in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
This position will have an hourly rate of $20 an hour.

The Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) supports and advances the University of Michigan?s commitment to educational outreach and academic excellence. CEO partners with faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement programs that inform, engage, and inspire a diverse community of scholars.
Responsibilities*
- Support the Recruiting process by screening resumes, application forms, and scheduling and confirming interviews with candidates
- Help create job postings on job boards and applicant tracking systems
- Share job postings with relevant listservs, campus partners and appropriate eternal networks
- Assist candidates with completing applications and pre-employment coordination for new hires
- Compose and revise correspondence, reports, forms, and other information using acceptable business formats
- Ensure that all data entry is entered and accurate
- Help coordinate off-site and on-site recruiting events such as job fairs, networking opportunities
- Address daily employee queries
- Maintain standard recruiting data and related reports
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred or a combination of education and experience
- 1+ years HR experience
- Documentation skills
- Experience using discretion with confidential business and candidate information
- Proficiency entering data in Microsoft Excel
