Summary
The University of Michigan Shared Services Center (U-M SSC) is a customer service organization focused on providing user-friendly and cost-effective administrative services to the university community. The SSC offers key financial and human resource transaction services to customers.
Reporting to the Employment Process Supervisor, the EPC-I9 Intermediate Associate serves as a critical member of the Employment Processing Team. The EPC-I9 Intermediate Associate staffs the assigned Regional I-9 Center and processes all I-9 paperwork for university employees.
Work Location:
Work is 95% remote. Please note that occasional on-site presence may be required. You are required to have a high-speed internet connection and a designated working space in your home. Equipment, including a laptop and monitors, will be provided for your use.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week M-F, 8 am - 5 pm (Potential for flexible work schedule, to be worked out with supervisor).

Responsibilities*
- Spend 80% of time completing transactions.
- Handle a high volume of tickets using a case management tool to open, document, process, and resolve tickets.
- Manage job openings and HR job data in U-M software.
- Process employment records for staff, faculty, non-students, and students.
Required Qualifications*
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience providing customer service
- Intermediate level proficiency with data entry and computer skills
