This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person at least two days per week.
The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) Workforce Development Division is recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. The Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) leads the Organizational Change Management function as part of the Statewide Organizational Development Program.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II (Managerial), the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) leads the Organizational Change Management function as part of the Statewide Organizational Development Program in the Workforce Development Division.

  • Describe your communication skills, both verbal and written. Provide relevant examples that demonstrate how you communicate to diverse audiences across multiple platforms (e.g., developing and delivering technical guidance in a narrative format and communicating with data).
  • Describe your experience in coordinating with partnering organizations as a subject matter expert. Provide relevant examples and year(s) in the role.

    • Strong written communication skills and experience collecting and compiling data, editing and writing web content, technical guidance (e.g., work processes), developing training, and marketing collateral
    • Ability to coordinate with partnering organizations and to be diplomatic, service-oriented, and collaborate well with peers, colleagues, managers, staff, and customers
    • Ability to adjust to new and changing priorities
