RCG is looking to hire a part-time BCBA or BCaBA to support our after-school enrichment and social skills groups. Our enrichment groups will provide our clients with a supported and structured environment to help develop and enhance social abilities and individualized goal development to help learners be successful in a variety of environments. Groups will be embedded with specialized learning activities and exercises that focus on social and communication skills with peers and adults, large and small group participation skills, routines, and independent self-care skills.
AVAILABILITY & LOCATION
- 4:30p - 6:30p Mon. - Thurs. with flexibility in the days you work
- 8 - 12 hours a week
- Center-based at our main campus in Midlothian, Virginia
BCBA Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead groups directly and provide oversight on the delivery of groups when led by an RBT.
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision to all assigned ABA Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians including monthly check-ins.
- Provide weekly clinical observation of clients and provide ongoing feedback to therapists and technicians.
- Completes all funder requirements related to client oversight in a timely manner including supervision notes, reports and reporting.
- Develops and presents in-service training to train and improve team member competencies in clinical and/or therapeutic interventions.
- Provide initial and ongoing behavioral skills assessments for clients (e.g., VB-MAPP, FBA, ABLLS-R).
- Develops, oversees and modifies treatment plans (curriculum and behavior plan) and ensures they are updated as needed based on data.
- Responsible for overseeing family training that integrates evidence-based behavioral strategies to be implemented in the home and/or natural environment.
- Meet with families to review progress related to treatment plan including curriculum and behavior plan based on funding source requirements.
- Collaborates with in-house and external agency team members (i.e IEP team, Speech Therapists, OTs, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.
Desired Qualifications:
RCG is looking for a professional with a strong work ethic and commitment towards providing excellent services to our clients and families.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and licensed by the Board of Medicine
- At least 2 years of experience working with children with autism and/or communication disorder
- Ability to maintain adherence to the BACB Code of Ethics
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external service providers, service purchasers, clients, etc.
