Minimum Starting Monthly Range: $6,458

Hiring Range (Monthly Pay): $6,458 - $7,916

Full-time / Part-time: Full-time

Exempt / Non-Exempt: Exempt

Risk Designation: Medium

Summary:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for reviewing business operations, assessing evolving business ideas, coordinating between groups and departments, and communicating recommendations for improving business operations. This role will assist with implementing business plans, creating standard operating procedures, and training staff on new processes. The Operations Analyst will drive and manage activities in the areas of invoicing, contract management, and financial reporting. This role reports to the Director, Business Operations and will work closely with the Finance, Contracts, Customer Service, Business Line, Information Technology teams at Contexture.

This position is based in Phoenix Arizona or Denver Colorado. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Gather, review, and analyze financial and business data, including financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
  • Review contracts, SOWs, invoices, and other documents for consistency and accuracy
  • Conduct meetings and collaborate with accounts receivable, business development and cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, including financial and business process modeling
  • Support Director of Business Operations with creation and implementation of standard operating procedures for Business Development team while aligning with all teams at Contexture
  • Produce and analyze monthly reports, which include customer metrics, financial results, and other reporting metrics
  • Manage documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to Finance, Contracts, Customer Service, Business Line, Information Technology teams
  • Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
  • Assist VP, Business Development with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Utilize database software to organize financial account information
  • Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources
  • Support accounts receivable with contacting clients to ensure payment
  • Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Generate financial reports for review regulatory authorities
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions

  • Prior experience working with financial accounts
  • Strong math and critical reasoning skills
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work on many projects at the same time
  • Hands-on experience with different databases and complex IT systems

Education/Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of business experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems, or Finance field. Experience in healthcare and or information technology preferred.

Work Environment

The position may require occasional availability for after-hours work, outside of regularly scheduled hours.

This position is expected to be exposed to, process, or handle sensitive information including but not limited to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), financial information, etc. As such, the holder of this position is expected to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and compliance expectations.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The person in this position needs to frequently communicate and exchange information and move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a keyboard, monitor, calculator, copy / scanner machine, and printer. Frequently moves office and work-related material weighing up to 10 pounds; Occasionally moves office and work-related material weighing up to 30 pounds.
