The role
The primary role of the Operations Analyst Level 1 is to support the field offices by providing quality assurance reviews of documents for submittal.
Key responsibilities
- Review case manager and consultant document submissions for accuracy and compliance with client guidelines, life company underwriting rules and state regulations.
- Perform month-end closing for assigned offices to ensure proper premium input.
- Update company resources in a timely manner and disseminate to the company.
- Prepare life company rate changes and roll-out to the company.
- Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as directed or as appropriate per field office.

- 0-2 years of office experience in a support function.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to learn in-house case management system (EDISON) and quoting software (IQ).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with a variety of people.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Structured Settlement knowledge.
- Recent experience performing data entry in a case management system or equivalent level of system.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in the Financial Settlements, legal, or insurance Industry.
Work environment
- 40-hour work week.
- Must be available to work flexible hours as needed based on business needs.
- Regularly communicates both verbally and in writing.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
- Physical effort and activities include: Light physical effort is required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
