JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE OF POSITION:Office Support IV
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Human Resources / Simpson Building
SALARY: Grade 61 ($2812-$3547/month)
Salary based on experience and qualifications of applicant.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months
REPORTS TO: Chief of Human Resources and Director of Benefits
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- High School diploma or GED from regionally or nationally accredited institution.
- One or more years of computer experience and/or training preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Copy projects as needed.
- Assist in scheduling flu shot and Hepatitis B clinics.
- Assist with Disability Packets and, Leave Letters, Disability Letters.
- Maintain data related to disability, leave, and retirements.
- Prepare packets for Retirement System Division.
- Maintain unemployment claims data.
- Create replacement badges for JCPS staff.
- Monitor the badge machine and communicate with the Personnel Supervisor to facilitate badge supply orders and machine repair requests.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Chief of Human Resources and the Director of Benefits.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have good computer skills and excellent public relation skills.
- Must be able to perform multi-tasks.
- Must have a keen sense of responsibility and be a team player.
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, administrators, and colleagues.
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering, grasping, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
