Hillco Support Services provides, facilitates, and coordinates a wide array of goods and services in support of 45 skilled nursing facilities in NC, VA and KY. Goods and services provided or facilitated through Hillco Support Services are vital to the physical operations of each facility and are an integral part of improving the safety, well-being, and quality of life for the residents.
This position may be assigned to cover one or more regions consisting of multiple congregate living settings. To address critical needs, the incumbent will work directly with maintenance directors at each facility and with regional maintenance directors under the Hillco Support Services umbrella. On occasion and as needed, the Office Assistant will connect with facility administrators to gather additional information and to share updates.
In addition, this position will be expected to take on clerical/administrative types of tasks and other duties as determined by ever changing business/office needs and delegated by management. For example, in addition to providing support to an established region, the incumbent will be responsible for the various rental properties owned and operated by our organization. This includes working closely with the Lenoir County and Greene County Housing Authority, taking applications for rental properties, receiving rent, sending out receipts, reconciling in QuickBooks, issuing late rent notices, coordinating with work crew to prepare houses for new tenants, initiating evictions, etc.
The Office Assistant is expected to establish and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external customers, which includes the multitude of vendors/suppliers that provide goods and services as well as our center partners.
It is imperative for the incumbent to be very detail oriented, have great organizational skills, maintain accurate and thorough record keeping, have good computer skills, have good oral and written communication skills, exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills, and be able to initiate follow up and documentation on requests for goods and services.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
