Human Resources:
- Maintain relationship with Professional Employment Organization (PEO) and 401(k) providers
- Oversee payroll processing
- Provide staff guidance for benefits, 401k, PTO, or general HR-related questions
- Oversee PTO approval process
- Maintain employee records/files
- Maintain all HR-related documentation (as needed) (i.e. Employee Handbook, Benefit/401(k), etc.)
- Oversee recruiting efforts for all new candidates
- Effectively onboard/offboard employees
- Promote employee morale through company events
- Generate invoices across various billing cycles
- Create bank deposits while tracking open accounts receivable
- Provide collections support for delinquent invoices
- Perform sales tax reconciliations
- Generate monthly/quarterly sales tax filings
- Perform customer deposit reconciliations
- Oversee employee expenses & billable time
- Confirm all time entries include appropriate contract details
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 1 – 3 years of FT experience in an Office Manager/HR role.
- Experience providing HR-related responsibilities in an office setting.
- Financially-minded individual with interest in business operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management within the organization
