As an Office Manager you are responsible for organizing and coordinating administrative duties and office procedures. This role will work alongside the Egg Harbor Twp. leadership team and Human Resources, to cultivate and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.
What you’ll do in your role:Human Resources: 40%
- Serve as a point of contact between Hillside and Egg Harbor Twp., in partnership Human Resources team
- Ensure key messaging is delivered to Egg Harbor Twp. team members, in partnership with Human Resources Communications team
- Post internal communication and encourage team member engagement.
- Assist as needed to plan and/or prepare for special meetings/events such as staff training, HR presentations, department or Town Hall Meetings.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and building tours
Business Services Support: 30%
- Assist in ordering supplies and processing invoices for the building
- Facilitate fiscal functions such as remittance of cash and FedEx branch mailing for Finance and Resource Development departments
- Maintain necessary supplies for all channels of communication/ package delivery – postage meter, fax machine, and forms for UPS, FedEx, and USP
- Produce and distribute letters, memos, photocopying, emailing, scanning, and filing as needed
- Report any needed maintenance of assigned area to ensure professional appearance consistent with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s public image.
Customer Service Support: 30%
- The Office Manager must demonstrate a professional demeanor in all interactions with visitors, volunteers, board members, donors, and partner agencies
- Recognize walk-in donations of food and funds; alert and inform Resource Development Team as needed. Making deposits on occasion
- Maintain accurate information and provide the public with basic FoodBank information, and staffing information.

- Previous experience as an HR generalist, Front office Manager, or Office Administrator
- Experience using Office 365, Salesforce, and Concur software
- Can work cross-functionally with various departments and team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Self-directed, ability to demonstrate problem solving, written and organizational skills
- Willingness to perform other duties as requested, including willingness and ability to stay late on occasion.
- Ocassional business travel to Hillside, NJ location may be required with advanced notice and milage is reimburseable
