Secure Products is currently seeking a Office & Warehouse clerk to join our organization. We are looking for a self-motivated team member to support new growth for a thirty three-year-old company . They will be responsible for general office operations and customer service duties plus learn shipping and receiving as well. The Office/Warehouse Clerk reports to the VP of Operations.

Secure Products is a security packaging and supply distributor with an emphasis on Cash in Transit/cash processing supplies and equipment. We provide solutions that include all aspects of the cash cycle in the market. We offer products and services for every medium of cash availability. We specialize in cash deposit bags as well as equipment for cash processing, loss prevention, tamper evidence, identification, personal protection and custom design. We welcome custom solution and packaging inquiries to apply our industry experience in determining what is best for the customer.
Job Responsibilities:
General Office
- Enter orders into our ERP system.
- Provide friendly professional customer service via phone and email.
- Triage and handle the multitude inbound customer service requests.
- Use Excel to create spreadsheets or edit existing.
Shipping/Receiving: This position will also be trained in and may be required to:
- Pick, pack, scan, seal and label all outbound UPS small package shipments.
- Prepare outbound shipments on pallets, including stacking and stretch wrapping for truck shipments.
- Loading pallet shipments into truck trailer via shipping dock.
- Receiving inbound pallets, small package shipments & returns.
- Sorting, counting, labeling, and inspecting inbound shipments.
- Putting inbound product away in the appropriate location.
- Sweep debris and keep the warehouse floor and general areas tidy.
- Enter new orders, handle post order requests and some general customer service duties.
- Use of an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and potentially a forklift.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher Preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent experience considered.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office experience with some proficiency in Excel (preferred)
- Able to work on your feet most of the day.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Position Type: Full-Time/Part
- 30-40 Hours peek week.
Schedule:
- 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday.
- No weekends.
Education:
- Associates Degree or higher Preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent experience considered.
Experience:
- General Office Environment.
- Excel and advanced PC navigating.
- Warehouse, packing and shipping preferred but not required.
Work Location:
Lombard, Illinois. (Approximately I355 & North Ave)
Compensation:
- $20-$22/hr based on experience.
