Network System Administrator

Network Systems Administrator - Job functions will include monitoring, maintaining, administering, and supporting system software, communications and network infrastructure.  Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environments, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS SQL and virtualization will also be necessary.  Experience with backup/replication management and IP phone systems are also desirable. Experience with ConnectWise, EDI and VPN technologies will be a plus.   It is important that you have good working knowledge of SNMP, SMTP, DHCP, and DNS.  You will be responsible for performing network device configurations, backups and troubleshooting.  As a Systems Administrator you will also build, test, analyze and document modifications and service procedures necessary to operate and sustain the corporate software systems and network environment.  This will require you to create, maintain, and review multifaceted documentation for all technology infrastructure systems.  

Required Skills:

2+ years experience managing Windows Server and Active Directory

2+ years experience with Microsoft Exchange

2+ years experience with DNS, DHCP
3+ years experience with hardware and software maintenance and support

5+ years experience with Microsoft Office

3 + years experience in network administration/technologies

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Bilingual English/Spanish

BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree 

Implementation and support experience integrating and supporting hardware and software.

Implementation and support experience with firewalls, security appliances, and VPN technology.

Experience with Sage X3 ERP software.

Experience with IBM Sterling B2B platform and EDI technology.

Experience with ConnectWise.

Experience with MDM Solutions.

Scripting experience (PowerShell, etc.).

Experience with JAVA.

Experience with MS SQL query writing.

Experience with Fortinet, Brocade/Ruckus and Aruba hardware.

Experience integrating and supporting multisite networks and mobile workforce needs.

Setup and configuration of wireless networking components.

Setup and configuration of switching and VLAN environments.

Knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, network protocols, and routing/switching concepts.

Experience with Telecommunications (i.e. IP Phone Systems, Cabling, POTS Phone lines)

Experience with Backup/Replication Technology
