Network Administrator/Desktop Support

Baldwin Supply Co. is a growing manufacturer and leading distributor of mechanical power transmission, conveyor belts, electric motors, and control products with offices in five states. We’re searching for an experienced Network Administrator/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. The Network Administrator/Desktop Support Analyst will administer and oversee the implementation, organization, and troubleshooting of the network, hardware, and underlying communications protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the assigned network, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.
• Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by monitoring security procedures or collaborating with network security staff.
• Draft checklists, processes, and support trees, and knowledge bases for help desk and other support staff.
• Image and configure laptops and PCs for users.
• Help to support the end user software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Two plus years’ experience with supporting IT related technologies, including desktop operating systems and productivity software.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Desktop Operation Systems and related software.
• SQL database or other transactional database knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Any IT related certifications are helpful but not required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
