Title: Network Administrator
Reports to: Chief Information Officer
Primary Function:
The Network Administrator will be responsible for the support of daily system maintenance, support of servers, network equipment, hardware, software, and end user environments. The Network Administrator provides exceptional and timely customer service to users. Their work is performed under the general direction of the CIO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with hardware and software problems across the server or network infrastructure.
- Manage complex project plans.
- Point of escalation for all helpdesk tickets.
- Assists in monitoring the network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
- Assists the CIO in managing a multi-facility network environment, including the maintenance, backup, installation, and troubleshooting of a Local Area Network and Wide Area Network.
- Assists maintaining network servers by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install and maintain all the systems with the latest security and patch releases.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain all personal computers hardware and software applications.
- Assists in managing backup application software, backup of network files and antivirus updates.
- Assists in troubleshooting the voice and data environment.
- Provide on—call after hours support for all systems which may need attention as required.
- Recommend changes to improve system and network configuration.
- Deliver high level of quality service (both internally and externally), including timely and professional response to member service areas.
- Complete other IT duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent. BS/BA college degree in an information technology discipline. If no degree, 3 years relevant work experience., a minimum of 6 months related experience. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:
Candidate must possess an understanding of Network and Voice equipment. Knowledge of PC software and hardware troubleshooting. Understanding of Microsoft products: Server, Exchange, Active Directory VMWare ESX System Administration. Ability for critical thinking and problem solving. Server application management and troubleshooting. Demonstrated accuracy and ability to meet goals and timelines. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong work ethic and self motivation.
Salary Range:
$50,000 to $60,000 depending upon experience.
