Who we are looking for


As an Account Executive at Expertise, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers and selling high-value solutions to businesses. Our ideal candidate is skilled in consultative selling, experienced in progressing deals involving multiple stakeholders, and has a successful track record of closing large subscription deals over $1,000 per month or $12,000 annually. Additionally, you will be responsible for researching and identifying key stakeholders within target organizations, developing communication strategies, and driving multi-channel engagement campaigns.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY


  • Capitalizing on inbound leads of service providers wanting to be listed on Expertise.com

  • Closing growth marketing services deals with Small and Medium businesses.

  • Outbound prospecting of existing and emerging markets.

  • Achieving or surpassing monthly activity metrics.

  • Reporting sales performance to the management team.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Three (3) to Five (5) years minimum sales experience selling to small/medium businesses (selling advertising, marketing, and leads a plus)

  • Understanding of Cost Per Click (SemRush.com, SpyFu.com, and aHrefs.com a plus)

  • Ability to discuss a marketing conversion funnel from top to bottom.

  • Successful completion/ certification in sales methodologies and CRM best practices.

  • Knowledge to ask intelligent questions, break complex topics like ROI (Return on Investment) into easy concepts, and consult businesses on growth strategies.

  • Proficient in Excel and Salesforce.com

  • Understand "share of customer wallet" and the options competing for clients' dollars.

  • Heavy outbound dialing and emailing of sales prospects

  • Desire to learn and grow with the company


RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Job Obligations)


  1. Collaborate with leadership to align your vision for pursuing and closing deals within the territory, targeted accounts, and partnerships. 

  2. Follow up on incoming leads and source your own leads via outbound prospecting, social selling, networking trade shows, and small business networks.

  3. Establish and nurture relationships with target businesses in your territory.

  4. Research and contact prospective clients to determine their business needs. Follow the sales process with prospects to ensure successful transitions from leads to clients.

  5. Perform sales/business development activities to meet quarterly targets, including:

    1. Lead generation within the assigned geographic territory

    2. Complete prospective client Discovery

    3. Define the value of our solution to leads and prospective clients

    4. Conduct product and ROI demonstrations with ease and proficiency

    5. Consistently and accurately maintain a pipeline of three (3x) to four times (4x) your quota within the CRM tool, Salesforce.com.

    6. CLOSE sales deals (Agreements) with signatures of new clients.

  6. Maintain all sales records and updates within the CRM tool and provide reporting to senior leadership weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and upon request.

  7. Coordinate RFP responses, pricing and proposals, and other processes regularly.

  8. Participate in team projects that support organizational goals and objectives.

  • Competitive Base salary
  • Generous uncapped sales commission with opportunity to achieve a fully ramped OTE (On target earnings) ranging from $125k-$175k+.
