2. Position Summary:
As our Operations Administrator, you'll be a keystone in our mission to bring about seamless operations and amplify our commitment to animal health, agriculture, construction, and food safety. Under the guidance of our Mine Manager and corporate executives, your collaborations with Van Beek Natural Science and Van Beek Nutrition will play a significant role in the combined success of our endeavors.
3. Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Management: Spearhead effective communications, fostering clear understanding and alignment within our teams and external partners. Ensure superior customer service to vendors, drivers, customers.
- Operational Support: Take the lead in data entry, order management, and other operational areas, reinforcing the collaboration between Thermocal Minerals and our sister sites.
- Safety and Compliance: Be at the forefront of ensuring adherence to industry and food safety standards, promoting trust in the quality and safety of our products. Administer MSHA and other regulatory training as directed.
- Office Management: Drive an organized, efficient, and collaborative office environment, setting the groundwork for sustained excellence through efficient workflows, time tracking, OSHA standards, and corporate policy.
- Collaborative Projects: Engage deeply with management, the executive team and sister sites on strategic initiatives that expand our reach and influence. Help oversee and maintain clean and safe facilities, houses, and buildings.
- Production - Support production, the core of success, by assisting with product packaging regularly and during high demand.
4. Qualifications:
- A High School diploma is required. Candidates with an Associate’s degree or relevant certifications will be prioritized.
- At least 1-2 years in an administrative role. Experience in mineral mining/processing, food safety, or related industries is an advantage.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office is necessary. Acquaintance with QuickBooks is a bonus.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

This is an on-site position (may consider hybrid with experience) at Thermocal Minerals of Idaho, Lidy Hot Springs - DuBois, ID
$16/hr to $25, negotiable with experience
