Medical Scheduler

Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and general information
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
- Assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients and checking them in/out

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient privacy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Office Location: Mesa, Arizona (Valvista & Southern)

Hours: M-F 9:00 to 6:00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
