We are hiring for a client looking for an Executive Assistant for International Development
Location: Various international locations, including Latin America, East Africa, India, and South East Asia, with headquarters in Nashville, TN, United States
Salary Range: $36,000–51,000.
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We seek an Executive Assistant with exceptional skills and profound experience to provide comprehensive support to our CEO. This role is instrumental in facilitating our International Development programs and requires a sophisticated understanding of international relations, encompassing logistics, finances, culture, and organizational dynamics. The passion for God’s word, advancing his kingdom, humanitarian work, a deep understanding of International Development, and the ability to manage complex projects across diverse cultures and geographies, directly contributing to the organization's mission alongside our CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support: Manage an extensive array of administrative tasks for the CEO, from scheduling and coordination of meetings to communication management and travel arrangements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the CEO's engagements.
Strategic Assistance: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters about the CEO's role in our International Development efforts, including program management and project coordination.
Cultural and Organizational Integration: Work with the CEO to facilitate the integration of international staff and volunteers, aligning them with our organizational culture and operational methodologies, while promoting excellence and continuous learning.
Financial Oversight and Strategy: Assisted in overseeing budgets, ensuring resources were allocated efficiently and expenditures were tracked accurately.
Grant Production: Identify grant opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, and manage grant applications to ensure steady funding for our projects. Work closely with the communications team to engage donors and partners, highlighting the impact of our work and fostering long-term relationships.
External Communications and Public Engagement: Execute the organization's external communications strategy, encompassing social media, print media, and blog production. This role involves curating content that aligns with our mission and values, enhancing our visibility and engagement with global audiences, and articulating our impact through compelling storytelling. Collaborate closely with the communications team to develop and implement innovative communication initiatives that promote our projects, achievements, and organizational news.
Development and Funding: Support grant identification, proposal development, and application processes, working closely with the communications team to engage and expand our network of donors and partners.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting: Implement effective monitoring and evaluation strategies to assess the impact of projects. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and donors.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience in International Development, with a preference for candidates who have directly supported executive-level management.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex projects in diverse and challenging environments.
Exceptional leadership qualities and experience managing cross-cultural teams.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English required, and proficiency in additional languages highly regarded.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
