Medical Receptionist/Office Manager

Therapeutic Associates PC is a private psychiatric practice affiliated with the Center for Healing Journeys, a practice that utilizes ketamine to primarily treat people with treatment resistant depression and PTSD. We are a multidisciplinary group consisting of a psychiatrist, nurses and psychotherapists.

We are looking for a mature and personable front desk individual to manage the office who is available approximately 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday starting at 8:30 AM.                                                        
 
Requirements:

Associates Degree and Medical office experience preferred.

Computer savvy, welcoming and professional demeanor, excellent phone skills, well organized, and comfortable with all types of people - sometimes in distress.    
Duties include appointment scheduling; providing relevant information to patients; maintaining files; collecting and posting payments;         
making reminder calls and texts; preparing files and patient logs for the next week; and ordering supplies. 
Additionally, communicate with pharmacies; do prior authorizations; follow up calls for past due balances; run PMPs (prescription use history).

Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential.

We offer 3 weeks of paid vacation/sick time after 4 months of employment.
