Job Title: Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

Job Summary: Idaho Skin Surgery Center, Fruitland is a second office to our Boise location and looking for a medical receptionist for front desk operations.

Principal Duties: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting patients upon arrival in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, assisting patients with registration paperwork, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, and serving as a point of contact for general administrative questions. Candidate will be a supporting staff member to two other medical receptionists as well as our biller.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Minimum of one year experience in a working environment as a Medical Receptionist is preferred but not required. Candidate must be friendly and welcoming to all patients. Previous experience with electronic medical record is a plus. Knowledge of insurance benefits and eligibility is also a plus.

Physical Demands: Physical movement in filing, bending, typing (data entry), walking, and occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
