Front Desk Receptionist
Idaho Eyelid and Facial Plastic Surgery is a small intimate practice downtown looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and computer skills to join our team. This is a full-time position 36-40 hours per week. Compensation depending on experience.
Experience:
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Insurance knowledge regarding prior authorizations preferred.
Previous experience with Advanced MD a bonus.
Job Description:
Answer multi-line phone system receive and prioritize appointment scheduling requests based on clinic protocols
Direct and respond to inquiries and register new patients and schedule appointments
Greet patients in a friendly manner to create a comfortable and helpful environment
Monitor waiting time to inform patients here for appointments of potential delays
Obtain and/or confirm demographic and billing information
Collect amounts due and co-pays from patients, issue receipt and record payment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to multi-task Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with service excellence
Ability to look up and explain insurance benefits when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
