• Customer service skills: maintain professionalism and also being able to deescalate situations in-person and over the phone
• Ability to problem-solve individually and with a team
• Ability to travel among all CUC locations (Lake Barrington, Elgin, and Hoffman Estates)
• Multi-tasking with phone calls, in-person patients, messages, and employee questions

Description:

As a Patient Service Representative, your main role at CUC is to provide top notch customer service while being the first point of contact when a patient enters our office. Your forward-thinking and proactive approach will enhance the daily flow of our practice, which will lead to the patient having an at-ease experience. Your attention to detail is crucial by making sure the information entered is up to compliance and meeting insurance requirements. At Comprehensive Urologic Care, we recognize the efforts that our PSR’s put into their work and for our front desk receptionists some of these daily tasks can include:

• Greeting patients and entering demographic and insurance updates
• Preparing patients charts ahead of the schedule to ensure the check in process runs smoothly
• Entering billing codes that will be submitted to the patients insurance
• Scheduling follow up appointments at check out or on the phone
• Paying attention to insurance details as you verify their benefits and eligibility
