Medical Receptionist Dermatology

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Receptionist Dermatology***.

• Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23502). **Some evening hours may be required for events periodically**
Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Medical Receptionist Dermatology :
As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for greeting patients and family and vendors in a professional, upbeat manner. The Medical Receptionist will also schedule appointments, take payments, maintain patient records/accounts, work in an EHR system, and complete general administrative duties like answering the phone, opening mail, taking messages, responding to emails and creating spreadsheets and memos as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements for the Medical Receptionist:

• Required: 1+ years of experience working in a medical front desk role in an outpatient office or a hospital setting
• Required: Excellent customer service skills
• Required: Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Windows, Excel/PowerPoint)
• Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
• Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Receptionist:

• Preferred: Previous Dermatology/Plastic Surgery or Surgical office experience
• Preferred: Previous experience working in an electronic health system
• Preferred:Previous scheduling experience

Benefits:

• $14.00 - $17.00 an hour (depending on experience level)
