Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using office systems
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Collect co-pays or payments from patients and apply them to the patient's accounts
- Create supply orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using office systems, such as Brightree or Parachute is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
