POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Receptionist is a Full-time role at the Davis Street Primary Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and employees. The Medical Receptionist will handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our Primary Care Clinic. RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner

· Answer and direct high volumes of phone calls in a polite and efficient manner

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages

· Maintain a neat and organized front desk area

· Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying

· Appointment scheduling and schedule maintenance

· Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary

· Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination

· Follow company policies and procedures at all times

· Collect and process payments

· Provide medical records as needed

· Assist in training and onboarding of new staff

· Flexibility as hours, schedules and responsibilities may change based on departmental needs

· Availability for occasional paid trainings, meetings and events outside of typical working hours

· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is a plus

· Proven experience as a call center representative or in a similar role is a plus

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Professional appearance and demeanor

· Customer service-oriented attitude

· English-Spanish Speaking (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
