Responsibilities:
- Patient Engagement: Answer incoming phone calls, discern patient needs, and provide clear, professional information about our offerings.
- Appointment Coordination: Efficiently manage appointment schedules according to patient requests, and proactively address follow-up inquiries.
- Patient Registration and Check-out: Conduct patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate paperwork assembly and EHR data entry.
- Insurance Liaison: Secure prior authorizations for medical procedures from insurance providers, verify patient insurance eligibility, and inform patients about associated costs. Collect payments as necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain order by organizing patient referrals, documents, and confirming appointments on a daily basis. Respond promptly to inquiries received via phone, email, and fax.
Skills Required:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer operations and typing; previous experience with EHR systems is an advantage.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
