Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team. As Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent phone skills,customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a full-time position with $20 per hour pay, appointment bonuses, paid vacation, paid holidays matching 401K and other benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information.
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Front Office Receptionist/ Administrator is preferred but not necessary
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software preferred
- Proficient in using office equipment including phone systems and computers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
