Medical Office Front Desk / Receptionist

The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey is looking for a dependable and reliable Medical Receptionist.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Welcomes and greets patients in a manner that is helpful and friendly.
• Data entry of basic demographics and insurance information.
• Collects applicable co-payment/ account balances at time of service.
• Confirms eligibility of various patient’s insurance plans.
• Obtains referrals as needed.
• Schedule appointments.
• Travel to other locations, in the Sussex/Warren/Morris counties, as needed.
• Rotate weekends as needed.
• Various other office duties as assigned by the Office Manager.

Requirements:

• Recent medical receptionist experience.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Ability to work with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
• Ability to organize workload and prioritize
• Good communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive, affirming attitude towards patients.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
