Medical Office Associate I, Billing / Data Entry, Per Diem

Atlantic Medical Group, part of Atlantic Health System has a Per Diem opportunity for an experienced Medical Office Associate in our Cedar Knolls Location in NJ. This Per Diem position requires availability of 12-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Sorting and preparing billing slips for Data Entry.
• Entering data into the Practice Management System (Epic) ensuring information is entered accurately and timely.
• Verifying patient insurance and completion of registration process.
• Scanning documents into the electronic medical record.
• Conducting charge capture reconciliations.
• Review and respond to patient billing inquiries regarding billing concerns.
• Working knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Other clerical duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
