Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Eaglesoft
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Pay: $17.79 - $21.42 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
