Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurances, get insurance authorizations, collects copays & patient balances, process incoming and outgoing referrals, process credit card payments, complete records/patient requests along with other administrative tasks, as instructed.
Must have a minimum of 2+ years medical office experience (orthopedic experience a plus but not required)
Must have a professional phone manner & etiquette.
Must be able to handle difficult patients in a professional manner at all times.
Must be well-versed on computers/credit card machines, scanners and copiers.
Must be proficient in Microsoft/Excel/Quickbooks
Must be a self starter, a team player, organized, self-sufficient and have an eagerness to learn all the facets of the medical office.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
