SalaryOur Medical Receptionist’s duties include:
- Entering patient demographics, insurance information, scanning in a copy of the patient's photo ID/insurance card(s) and ensuring the necessary patient consents/forms are filled our properly then scanned into the patients account.
- Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Collection and posting of patient copays.
- Daily chart preparation.
- Coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence/faxes, answering multi line phone system/redirecting phone calls and taking accurate messages ensuring message delivery in a timely manner.
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Faxing medical records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.75 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
