SalaryThe Woodlands and Montgomery Dermatology Associates is looking for a Front Office assistant for our general Dermatology practice at The Woodlands Location.
The front desk person will assist with the efficient operation of the Front Office while providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this position you must be cheerful, friendly, polite, tactful, and always professional in appearance and manner. They must be knowledgeable of financial and insurance policies and be able to obtain the required information accurately.
- Check patients in for their appointment, collecting proper demographic, medical history, and insurance information. Ensure all information is updated in our practice management system.
- Check patients out and collect their copay, co-insurance, or deductible. Posting payments to patient's account, reconciling and balancing daily collections. Decent math skills are necessary.
Respectful team player and proactively help coworkers and patients before being asked. This is a very busy practice as we see 175+ patients a day. This person must be comfortable working alongside several people. Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
