JOB SUMMARY: Under the guidance of the office manager, the incumbent is entrusted with delivering superlative customer service to both patients and referring professionals. This involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including answering phone inquiries, warmly welcoming and registering patients, confirming appointments, promptly dispatching requested records, meticulously verifying patient data upon arrival, and proficiently scanning and attaching medical records. Additionally, the role encompasses a suite of other duties as assigned, reflecting a commitment to operational excellence and seamless patient interactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Registration
- Greet the patients; assist them with signing in on the Stoll Neurodiagnostics sign in sheet.
- Assist patient with filling out the demographic and release/financial policy sheets upon arrival
- Register demographics and verify the data on the chart is accurate in ECW, as needed
- Scan into ECW the patients ID (an acceptable ID is a Driver's License, Military ID, State Issued ID, Passport) and all
insurance card(s) front and back and attach to the patients documents in ECW
- Confirm primary, secondary, and tertiary orders of insurance coverage
- Process and collect all payments/copays lister on the patients ECW billing alert box
- Collect, from the patient, any MRI’s, CT’S, X-rays, reports or paperwork and put into the MA drop box
- Send diagnostic reports immediately as they are requested from other offices via email/fax/phone request
- Answer phones and handle calls in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner
- Assist physicians with patients in any way that is needed; respond to the door chimes. If you are unable to respond alert another staff member to help the doctor.
- Coordinate and cover for Medical Assistant during lunch
- Confirm patients of appointments by phone/text
- Support staff for scheduling as needed
(10%) Perform other duties as assigned and assist the Office Manager

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Electronic Medical Record experience
- 1-3 years of Medical Receptionist experience
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- 1-3 years medical office experience
- Proficient in using computer systems and typing
- Must be able to Multitask
- Stable work history
