A Neurology, Epilepsy, and Sleep Medicine clinic, has an immediate opening for an organized and reliable Front Office Specialist in our The Woodlands office. The successful candidate will support clinic operations in delivering patient care. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently and directly with people.
The candidate must be able to train for at least 2 weeks in the Sugar Land office. Flat mileage and toll fee reimbursement would be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Front Office Medical Specialist will be responsible for:
· Coordinating patient care throughout the clinic: schedule and confirm appointments, checking in, collect co-pays and other fees required prior to the office visit or procedure, prepping, escorting patients to clinic rooms, taking vitals, and checking out patients.
· Answer inquiries by phone, in person, or by email in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner.
· Maintaining the front desk and reception areas.
· Managing and updating patient records in EHR.
· Dispensing DME supplies to patients.
· Ensure exam rooms are stocked appropriately and that they are ready for the next patient.
· Scheduling sleep studies and assisting providers as needed.
·Overseeing and maintaining office and medical supplies, materials, and equipment.
· Provide patient care with excellent customer service.
· Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks as required.

Education/Licensure/Certifications
· High School Diploma required. Associates preferred.
· 2+ years Medical Administrative/Office Experience.
· Medical Office experience preferred.
·Bi-lingual: Spanish preferred.
·HIPAA certification and BLS training preferred.
