That's why we need you, a Network Engineer who knows how to develop the exact network DoD needs.

As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your skills in network and computer systems to help support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll troubleshoot and resolve network issues and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in software and hardware firewalls you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have: 3+ years of experience with networking hardware and software 3+ years of experience operating U.S. Department of Defense Networks Experience with LAN and WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols, and TCP/IP Experience with engineering data, voice, and video networks Experience with network monitoring tools TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED DoD IAT Level II certification Nice If You Have: Experience with maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks Experience working with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management Bachelor's degree Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional (CCIP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Work Model Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
