Qualifications
- Knowledge in medical insurance and benefits required
- Medical office experience with electronic medical records is a must
- Must be organized!
- 3-5 years medical office experience
- Insurance verification knowledge
- EMR knowledge/experience
- Friendly and Passionate Disposition
- Motivated, team player and strong organizational skills
- Able to Multitask phone calls, patients and Front Desk duties
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
- Answers the phone with a friendly and polite manner
- Schedule new and follow up appointments for all Doctors
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
- Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics to ensure patient information is correct including billing information
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the Medical Assistant of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
- Keeps medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders
- Collect co-pays and payments
Schedule
- Mon- Thrs 8:30am - 5pm
- Friday 9am - 3pm
