Starz Pediatrics is currently seeking an experienced, bilingual full time Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Estero's Premier Pediatric Primary & Urgent Care office. This is a full-time position. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and service to our patients and their families, offering walk-in, same-day, and extended hour visits. We are looking for a specific and experienced individual who is driven, motivated, and aligned with our vision. Preferably, someone who resides in the area. The Front Desk position is of great importance, requiring someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, pleasant, and committed to making the patient experience special for our patients and their families.

Job Standards:
- Experience as a medical receptionist is required
- Computer experience and keyboard familiarity required.
- Experience with Office Practicum and Phreesia is not required but preferable.
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.

- Proficient in patient work flows and multitasking
- Highly motivated and organized
- Empathetic with patient's needs and concerns
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
The office Front Desk employee plays a crucial role in our practice, serving as the initial point of contact for patients. They will greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Responsibilities include verifying and updating patient information, entering new patient demographics and insurance details into the computer, and verifying coverage and benefits. They will also handle emailing or faxing documents as needed. Additionally, the Front Desk employee will notify our PA students and MA when patients arrive. They also will be responsible for answer phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient/provider messages. They will monitor patient activity in the waiting room and maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients. Other duties include checking out patients, scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-pays, deductibles, and balances, as well as documenting no-show appointments and rescheduling as needed.
