Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Medical Assistant/Front Desk to work in General Practice location. This will be a full time position.

Must have authorization and referral experience

Candidate must be available to work the following shift:

Monday to Friday

Available to work 10:30-7pm

Available to work Saturdays.

General Qualifications:

• Verify Insurance
• Collect, record, and obtain patient information such as vital signs, medical history, and laboratory results
• Referrals and Authorization Knowledge a plus
• Display professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
• Medical records management
• Answer Multi-line phone system *very important*
• EMR knowledge (Prime suite a Plus)
• Vaccine Knowledge a MUST
• Vital Signs
• Injections Administration Knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of medical front office and Medical Assistant experience
• Greenway's PrimeSuite PM/EMR system a Plus
• Insurance verification, Pre-certifications and prior authorization specialist authorizations
• Full Time
• Bilingual a Must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: Between 37-40 per week
