Job Responsibilities
- Greets patients and families to the practice, provides necessary registration form to the patient for completion and signature, reviews same for accuracy, updates patient information, and notifies staff that patient is ready.
- Efficiently and timely answers the phone and directs calls to the appropriate staff or records messages. Able to use Microsoft Office and electronic fax systems, email and other forms of communication.
- Registers patient information and verifies correct insurance and billing information on file.
- Collection of co-pay or payments for services at each visit. Print and advise patients of any outstanding balance and collection of this payment.
- Uses practice management system appropriately to schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments.
- Maintain various Front Desks logs/forms of daily activity.
- Totaling payments received and balancing with encounter forms. Review for accuracy and reconcile end of day closing activity.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
