The New York office of Dewberry is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities:
- The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of Traffic Engineering to include design and studies related to traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, work zone traffic control, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Connected and Autonomous (CAV) vehicle technology, roadway lighting, traffic operational analyses, active transportation design, and safety analyses.
- Candidate will be part of Dewberry’s growing transportation engineering practice involved in a wide variety of projects.
- Applicants must have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work successfully in groups. PE registration or working towards attaining a PE registration is desirable.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
- BS in Civil Engineering or related
- EIT required, PE desirable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Traffic Engineering
- Proficiency with MicroStation required
- Proficiency with lighting design and traffic analysis software desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Task Management and leadership skills desirable

Salary Range:
The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $121,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly
