Champion Orthopedics is accepting applications from candidates with extraordinary customer care skills and strong attention to detail to join our Front Desk team on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience in a medical office; proficiency in insurance plans, eligibility & verification; basic computer and data entry proficiency; ability to work in Aiken, SC office when needed. EMR experience. Athena is preferred.

The ideal candidate is warm, compassionate, an effective communicator, able to multi-task and handle a high volume of patients, and is familiar with insurance verification via we portals.

Responsibilities:

· Patient registration and account maintenance

· Checking patients In/Out and collecting co-pay's and account balances

· Insurance eligibility & verification & selecting packages

· Scheduling patient appointments

Qualifications:

· Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, clinic staff & physicians.

· Basic computer skills.

· Professional, friendly and compassionate attitude.

· Experience in Orthopedic practice a plus.

· Familiarity with medical software and equipment

· Ability to build rapport with patients and co-workers
