Medical Office Front Desk Bilingual (Spanish)

POSITION SUMMARY: Busy Medical Practice is hiring a bilingual Front Desk person who is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, including paperwork for patients to fill out, scanning insurance cards, entering all demographic information into the electronic health record, and working closely with physicians and staff. Must be bilingual in Spanish

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greets and directs all patients within the practice

· Obtaining patient demographic and verifying insurance information at each visit.

· Collect co-pays and payments.

· Scanning pertinent patient information into EMR including patient authorizations, recent labs delivered by patient, etc.

· Schedules any necessary appointments after completion of patient visit.

· Monitor and review patient schedules for next day office appointments.

. Verify that all information has been entered in correctly

· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE · Minimum of a High School diploma

· At least one year relevant experience and/or training.

· eClininical Works experience preferred

Detail Oriented.Must be bilingual in Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
