Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Thomasville Eye Center is currently looking for a Full Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist. Applicant must be dependable, well organized, able to multi-task, possess a high energy personality with a strong willingness to learn. Responsibilities will include checking in and out patients, collecting copays, deductibles, co-ins etc. insurance verifications, prepping route slips, duties may also consist of billing claims to insurance, balancing payments received, scheduling appointments and any other Front Desk duties needed. Some overtime may be needed depending on the daily schedule and occasionally you may be needed as back up in another location in Valdosta or Moultrie but your primary location will be in Thomasville (supplement pay and mileage is offered). Medical office experience of 6 months or more preferred but not required. Pay will be based on experience.
