- Efficient Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information and medical records into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Maintain data integrity and confidentiality while ensuring all records are up-to-date.
- Document Scanning: Contribute to the digital transformation of our practice by scanning and organizing important documents into our electronic database, improving accessibility, and reducing paper clutter.
- Appointment/ schedule Coordination: Utilize your organizational prowess to manage patient appointments seamlessly. Coordinate appointments, including complex procedures, and optimize patient and healthcare provider scheduling.
- Appointment Confirmations: Maintain a proactive approach to confirm upcoming appointments with patients, minimizing no-shows and ensuring the schedule runs efficiently.
- Insurance Verification and Precertification: This is crucial in ensuring a smooth reimbursement process. Obtain and verify insurance information, assist in procedure precertification, and liaise with insurance providers to facilitate accurate billing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Medical Front Desk or administrative role is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
