We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at TrueVertex, a men's wellness clinic specializing in testosterone therapy, medical weight loss, hair restoration and evaluation and treatment of erectile health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations . If you are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and are passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you. Phlebotomy skills preferred but not necessary.
Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
-Maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
