Medical Assistant

Texas Liver Consultants just opened a new location and is looking for a Medical Assistant who will work collaboratively with our team of dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, detailed-oriented, and efficient. Strong oral/written skills and experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient office required.

Schedule is in office, full-time weekdays. Candidate must be able to reliably commute to our Indian Woods office.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Greet patients and escort them to their exam room
• Document updates to medical history & current medications
• Enter information into electronic medical record (EPIC)
• Create patient orders
• Assist with patient medical chart preparation
• Assist with referrals
• Assist with front desk coverage and patient calls
• Learn the subject matter and be part of a team delivering quality specialty care

Education/Experience:

• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year MA experience (required)
• Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred)
