```Duties```
- Responsible for assisting physician and mid-level providers with patient exams, documenting in the EMR, and coordinating treatment plans under the direction of the physician
- Authorized to access Patient Health Information (PHI) to perform duties and fulfill responsibilities of position
- Guides patient into examination room and obtains medical history and medical vitals and documents results in EMR
- Records symptoms and diagnoses as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as directed by physician
- Documents physician's orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, and procedures
- Documents medical information as directed by physician to justify medical procedures
- Communicate with family members as needed to understand and document medical history of patient
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Adhere to employer work practices
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and managements
- Other duties as may be assigned to support patient flow, quality of care, compliance efforts, and patient satisfaction
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in OBGYN and/ or Primary Care
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for data entry and retrieval
